El Reglamento de Ejecuci\u00f3n de la UE n. \u00b0 2019\/1090<\/a>\u00a0y su correcci\u00f3n de errores<\/a> se publicaron en el DOUE sobre la no renovaci\u00f3n del dimetato como sustancia activa.<\/p>\n

El dimetoato se utiliza como productos fitosanitarios para su aplicaci\u00f3n en diversos cultivos: c\u00edtricos, ajos, cebollas, tomates, remolachas, zanahorias, aceitunas, centeno, trigo.<\/p>\n

La EFSA no pudo excluir de la evaluaci\u00f3n el riesgo de exposici\u00f3n de los consumidores, operadores, trabajadores, transe\u00fantes y residentes a los residuos de dimetoato cuyo potencial genot\u00f3xico no se puede descartar, as\u00ed como en su metabolito principal el omethoate, la mayor\u00eda de los expertos clasifican como agentes mutag\u00e9nicos in vivo. Adem\u00e1s, la EFSA ha concluido que existe un alto riesgo para los mam\u00edferos, los artr\u00f3podos y las abejas.<\/p>\n

Los Estados miembros deben retirar las autorizaciones para los productos fitosanitarios que contengan el principio activo dimetoato a m\u00e1s tardar el 31 de diciembre de 2019. El per\u00edodo de gracia otorgado por los Estados miembros para los productos fitosanitarios que contienen dimetoato expira a m\u00e1s tardar el 30 de septiembre de 2019 para el uso en cerezas y 30 de junio de 2020 para el uso en otros cultivos.<\/p>\n

En Francia, esta mol\u00e9cula est\u00e1 prohibida de comercializaci\u00f3n y uso desde el 1 de febrero de 2016.<\/p>\n
