Phytocontrol is pleased to announce the evolution of its pesticide analysis offer with the development of Matrine and Oxy-matrine. <\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matrin is an alkaloid naturally present in some plants that has been detected in fruits and vegetables grown in various countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the last meeting of the Standing Committee on 21 and 22 March 2019, the German authorities indicated that the presence of matrine in food could present a potential risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The European Commission shared an information note on this substance prepared and presented by the German authorities at this meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DG Grow Fertilisers Working Group is expected to decide on the presence of matrine in fertilisers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Phytocontrol solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To respond to this emerging problem, the Phytocontrol laboratory is able to search for Matrine and Oxy-matrine by LC-MS\/MS with a LQ of 0.01mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
