{"id":6602,"date":"2018-05-24T11:43:29","date_gmt":"2018-05-24T09:43:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=6602"},"modified":"2018-05-24T11:43:29","modified_gmt":"2018-05-24T09:43:29","slug":"publications-regulations-eu-2018-685-2018-686-and-2018-687","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stagingphytocontrol.shdesign.fr\/en\/regulatory-watch\/publications-regulations-eu-2018-685-2018-686-and-2018-687\/","title":{"rendered":"Publications Regulations (EU) 2018\/685, 2018\/686 and 2018\/687"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[hover_box image=&#8221;\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/actu_usages-phytopharmaceutiques-nationaux_01.png&#8221; image_hover=&#8221;\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/actu_publication-rasff-2016_02.jpg&#8221; link=&#8221;&#8221; target=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Three new European regulations have just been published in the Official Journal of the European Union:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Regulation (EU) 2018\/685<\/strong> of 3 May 2018 amending Annexes II, III and IV to Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 as regards maximum residue levels for abamectin, beer, fluopyram, fluxapyroxad, maleic hydrazide, mustard seed powder and tefluthrin in or on certain products.<br \/>\nThis new Regulation introduces the following amendments:<br \/>\n<strong>Abamectin:<\/strong> MRL on Banana increased from 0.01 to 0.02 mg\/kg.<br \/>\n<strong>Fluopyram:<\/strong> MRL on Purslane increases from 0.2 to 20mg\/kg.<br \/>\n<strong>Fluxapyroxad:<\/strong> Several MRLs revised upwards in particular on grapefruit, certain root vegetables and tuber vegetables, onions, certain Brassic\u00e9es, certain salads, Herbs, certain stem vegetables, Infusions and spices.<br \/>\n<strong>Maleic Hydrazide:<\/strong> MRL on potato increased from 50 to 60mg\/kg, on Garlic from 15 to 40mg\/kg, on Shallots from 15 to 30mg\/kg and on milk from 0.05 to 0.07mg\/kg.<br \/>\n<strong>Tefluthrin:<\/strong> MRL on Carrots increased from 0.05 to 0.08 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n<p>This text was published on 16\/05\/18 and will enter into force on the 20th day following its publication.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Regulation (EU) 2018\/686<\/strong> of 4 May 2018 amending Annexes II and III to Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 as regards maximum residue levels of chlorpyrifos, chlorpyrifos-methyl and triclopyr in or on certain products.<br \/>\nThe following changes have been introduced:<br \/>\n<strong>Chlorpyrifos:<\/strong> Many MRLs have been revised upwards, notably on Citrus, Peaches, Plums, Strawberries, Bananas, Tomatoes, Barley, Oats, Rice, Rye, Sorghum, Wheat and Tea.<br \/>\nOther MRLs have been revised downwards, such as cherries, vat grapes, radishes, aubergines, coffee beans and infusions.<br \/>\n<strong>Chlorpyrifos-methyl:<\/strong> Many MRLs have been revised upwards, notably on Citrus, Pome fruits, Core fruits, Grapes, Tomatoes, Peppers, Aubergines, Barley and Oats<br \/>\nOther MRLs have been revised downwards, such as Strawberries, Buckwheat, Maize, Millet, Rye, Sorghum, Wheat and Infusions.
