image_hover=&#8221;\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/actu_publication-rasff-2016_02.jpg&#8221; link=&#8221;&#8221; target=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Four new amendments to regulation 2023\/915 on contaminants have just been published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32024R1002&amp;qid=1712848521847\"><strong>EU Regulation 2024\/1002 :<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The maximum <strong>perchlorate <\/strong>content in unshelled beans has been increased from 0.05 mg\/kg to <strong>0.15 mg\/kg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulation will apply from <strong>25\/04\/2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32024R1003&amp;qid=1712848521847\"><strong>EU Regulation 2024\/1003 :<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The maximum levels for the <strong>sum of 3-MCPD and its GA esters <\/strong>in infant formulae, follow-on formulae, foods for special medical purposes intended for infants and young children and formulae for young children are increased from :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>125 \u00b5g\/kg to <strong>80 \u00b5g\/kg <\/strong>in powders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15 \u00b5g\/kg to <strong>12 \u00b5g\/kg <\/strong>in liquids<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulation will apply from <strong>01\/01\/2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Article 2 of this regulation specifies that foodstuffs legally placed on the market before 01\/01\/2025 may remain on the market until their expiry date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32024R1022&amp;qid=1712848521847\"><strong>EU Regulation 2024\/1022 :<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximum <strong>DON <\/strong>levels have been lowered for all regulated matrices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>1.4<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Deoxynivalenol<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>New content (\u03bcg\/kg)<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.1<\/td><td>Unprocessed cereal grains, excluding products listed in points 1.4.2 and 1.4.3<\/td><td><strong>1 000<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.2<\/td><td>Unprocessed durum wheat grains and unprocessed maize grains<\/td><td><strong>1 500<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.3<\/td><td>Unprocessed oats surrounded by their inedible husk<\/td><td><strong>1 750<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.4<\/td><td>Cereals placed on the market for final consumers, popcorn and popcorn popping<\/td><td><strong>750<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.5<\/td><td>Products of cereal milling, with the exception of products mentioned in point 1.4.6<\/td><td><strong>600<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.6<\/td><td>Corn milling products<\/td><td><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.6.1<\/td><td>Corn milling products marketed to end consumers<\/td><td><strong>750<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.6.2<\/td><td>Corn milling products not placed on the market for the final consumer<\/td><td><strong>1 000<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.6.3<\/td><td>Ready-to-eat pre-cooked polenta<\/td><td><strong>250<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.7<\/td><td>Bakery products, cereal snacks and breakfast cereals<\/td><td><strong>400<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.8<\/td><td>Pasta<\/td><td><strong>600<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.9<\/td><td>Baby foods and processed cereal-based foods for infants and young children (3)<\/td><td><strong>150<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1.4.10<\/td><td>Foodstuffs intended for special medical purposes for infants and young children (3)<\/td><td><strong>150<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulation will apply from <strong>01\/07\/2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Article 2 of this regulation stipulates that foodstuffs legally placed on the market before 01\/07\/2024 may remain on the market until their &#8220;best before&#8221;
