Adoption by the EU Council of the proposal for a Directive on drinking water

In its press release of 5 March 2019, the EU Council announced that it had adopted its position on the proposal to revise the EU drinking water directive.
This future directive provides in particular for :
– A risk-based approach to water quality monitoring
– Modification of water quality
