Changes to MRLs – Regulations 2023/1719 and 2023/1753

Two new regulations modifying MRLs have just been published by the European Commission:

• EU regulation 2023/1719 modifies the MRLs for the following residues: isoxaben, metaldehyde, paclobutrazol.

The MRL for isoxaben has been set at 0.05 mg/kg for gherkins.

MRLs for metaldehyde on cabbage (inflorescence development) increase from 0.4 mg/kg to 0.7 mg/kg. MRLs for cabbage leaves increase from 0.4
