Dithiocarbamates belong to the fungicide family. The main pesticides that compose it are: maneb, mancozeb, metiram, propineb, thiram, ziram and zineb divided into 3 families: DMD, EBD, and PBD.
The use of certain dithiocarbamates is authorized on fruit trees, vines, vegetables and cereals.
The determination of dithiocarbamate content (expressed as CS2) has its limits with risks of false positive on certain matrices.
